Le nouveau trio de Pierre Bastien joue avec les vidéos de musiciens du passé : des seconds violons
d’un orchestre égyptien, des anonymes d’un rituel jamaïcain, des animateurs oubliés d’un cabaret parisien,
la section rythmique d’un jazz antique. Dans cette ambiance de vieux films 16 mm les musiciens ressuscités
répètent leur partie en boucle, un peu comme des machines. Accompagné de l’incroyable Steve Arguelles
à la batterie et Bruno Ferro Xavier da Silva à la basse, Pierre Bastien superpose des compositions
originales sur des musiques oubliées pour créer un nouveau folklore moderne.

KAMP HORST (separate words, all capitals) is a six member art collective from Rotterdam, the Netherlands, established
after the 2009 demise of its predecessor Antistrot. After having made a name for themselves worldwide (New York, Tokyo,
Miami, Dublin, Berlin, San Francisco) with Dutch collective Antistrot, 5 ex members of this infamous group of artists
decided to bring things back to life with a new collective: KAMP HORST.
KAMP HORST has been active for several years now under different names and with a changing cast. Achievements so
far include murals in Berlin and several Dutch exhibition spaces, and an entire collection of new paintings. KAMP HORST
is ready to face the future and will be showing its new collection of canvases for the first time at Raw Art Fair and
Re:Rotterdam - two art fairs which will open on Wednesday the 8th of February 2012.

Illustrations - Atelier van Lieshout's De Kannibaal - Villa Zebra
De Kannibaal (The Cannibal) is an exhibition of artworks by Atelier van Lieshout on
consumption, production and recycling. Bruno Ferro Xavier da Silva made the illustrations
that are used in the exhibition booklet and sticker sheet. The exhibition is for children
aged 7 to 12 years: 6th December 2011 – 17 June 2012, Villa Zebra, Rotterdam (NL)

Doktor Schnitt: new album release - Katerushki!!!
With super fancy artwork by Johan Kleinjan! A track with Danish composer Niels Bjerg (WEGO).
Turntable wizard Enio Ramalho (Deformer, Wormskull, Stöma) makes a guest appearance on
another track and the Bulgarian singer Ekaterina Anguelova (Acid Folk Five) can be heard on
the title track.
It’s dope, happy and highly danceable. Less drum ‘n bass oriented than on the first album
(Doktor Schnitt), but more infused with electronic, tribal, hip hop, dubb and even gabber
and latin.
The releaseparty will be held on dec 30th in Rotown (Rotterdam) and the Doctor will start
operating in Hijgend Hert (Breda) on dec 10th. Check www.doktorschnitt.com
